Check-in was completed online beforehand and collecting the key card for the room was straight-forward from the friendly staff. The central location was convenient. Breakfast was good value and tasty.

The hotel is very nice. First of all the location is perfect: it is in the centre of the city near the sights of this clean pleasant city on the bank of the river!!! The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a towel, shampoo, fan, plastic glasses. Wi fi is free here. For breakfast you can have some kinds of bread, ham, sausage, sour cream, some kinds of yogurt, tea, coffee, fruits and jam, boiled eggs, two kinds of cereal. I liked this hotel and recommend you for staying.

Very good price for quality , simple rooms but comfortable bed. Very big breakfast buffet , but you need the green pass (August 2021). Excellent location

I stay here for work often. This week I stayed one night. The chef Mrs Amala is amazing and kind. She found me something to eat despite all my allergies so I didn’t starve ! Thank you very much ! Highly recommend this IBIS with their staff

Hotel appears to have been recently modernised and our room was quiet and comfortable with all mod cons. The location couldn't have been better within easy walking distance to uptown Angers with it's mix of restaurants , bars and high class shops. Angers Chateau is 15 minutes walk away and well worth visiting. There is an underground car park in the same street , drive in , take a ticket then on your way out pay at the barrier with a UK debit card with no hassle. Cost is about 16 euros for 24 hours, not cheap but very convenient but to be honest you don't really need a car in Angers and the traffic can be awful Nearly forgot the hotel faces the river , there is a lovely esplanade with plenty of seating and great walks along both sides of the river.No wonder Angers has the best quality of life in whole of France
